The softball team battled, but took a loss to Crown Point with a score of 3-4. Payton Cherep was on the mound tonight for the Trojans. She pitched a great game earning our defensive player of the game. Jillienne Pittman went 1-2 with a homerun and a walk. Hannah Florian went 1-3 with a clutch hit in the 7th, and Lexi Smith went 1-3 hitting a double to score two runs in the 7th. Jill, Hannah and Lexi earned offensive players of the game.
