CHESTERTON HIGH SCHOOL BOYS VARSITY CROSS COUNTRY Boys Varsity Cross Country finishes 6th place at New Prairie Invitational Saturday, September 20, 2025 8:00 AM Place Points 6 164 Meet Recap Cross Country The Trojan boys team travelled to New Prairie on Saturday, September 20th to participate in the New Prairie Invitational. The event, billed as the largest cross country meet in Indiana, has taken a bit of a hit recently following the IHSAA realignment resulted in some teams moving to other meets because they no longer were fed into the New Prairie Semi-State. However all the contenders projected to vie for a top five result at the New Prairie Regional in five weeks were entered in the Class AAA race. The boys finished sixth! Ryan Nix led the Trojans, as he has all year, with a seventh place. Also scoring for the varsity were, Nick Jakel; Will Roberson; Nolan Harrington; and William Morgan. In the Freshman/Sophomore race the boys finished fourth. They were led by sophomore Aaron Pieters seventh place finish. In the Reserve race the team was led by freshman Job Hennigar who finished in 35th place.
