The Chesterton Lady Trojans hosted the Gary 21st Century Cougars in the second game of their Wednesday night doubleheader. Quarterback Izzy Harvey completed seven of her twelve passes for 103 yards, finding Lexi Gano for a pair of touchdowns, and Annebell Haas for a third. Matilda Pagels converted two extra points, and Taylor Mayle added a third. Senior running back Harper Russell set a new team record for rushing yards in a game, with one hundred and seventeen, while also finding the end zone once. Izzy Harvey set a new team record for touchdown passes in a season with eleven, topping the previous benchmark of ten she set last season. Lexi Gano also set a new Trojan team record for touchdown catches in a season with seven, eclipsing the previous record of six that she set last season. Bella James saw action at running back with five carries for thirty eight-yards and a touchdown. Annika Jendrzejczyk saw action at quarterback, completing seven of twelve passes for thirty-eight yards. Isabelle Kish anchored the Trojan defensive unit, recording seven flag pulls and breaking up a pass. Maddy Vickers pulled three flags, and broke up two passes. Julia Mobley also broke up a pass, while contributing significant pressure on the opposing quarterback. Other Trojans contributing flag pulls included Bia Fernandes Campos (5), Hailey Arriazza (2), Grace Kish (1), Asia McClelland (1), and Bella James (1).
