Chesterton varsity had a big weekend going 4-0 yesterday in Plymouth defeating New Prairie (25-19, 25-20), Warsaw (25-17, 25-21), and #2 state ranked Penn (26-24, 25-20). Penn beat Chesterton in the 1st match of the year but Chesterton was able to punch back over the weekend. Chesterton faced a relentless Valpo squad in the finals (25-19, 19-25, 15-8) but was able to fight through and finish tournament Champions. Head Coach, Lindsey Fisher, also got her 100th win for her career at Chesterton over the weekend. Congrats!! Chesterton continues to have a big week ahead with a conference match against Valparaiso on Tuesday, Crown Point on Thursday and #1 state ranked Carroll on Saturday.
