The Chesterton girls basketball team won the final game of the DeKalb Holiday Tournament over NorthWood by a score of 45-19. The team used stifling defense to get out to a 15-0 lead after one quarter before cruising the rest of the way for the final victory. Ella Boyanski led the team with 13 points and Lindsi McGuffey scored 10. The team finished the tourney with a 2-1 record. They also beat Kokomo and lost to Carroll High School in overtime.
